Welcome to Showmee. These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the Showmee platform, website, and services available at https://showmee.in.

By accessing or using Showmee, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please discontinue use of the platform.

 

PLATFORM NOTICE & GLOBAL COMPLIANCE

Showmee is a global subscription-based digital content platform where independent creators publish and monetize digital content while users voluntarily subscribe to access such content.

Showmee provides technology infrastructure, hosting systems, subscription tools, and payment facilitation to connect creators with their audience.

Showmee does not produce, manage, or control creator content.

All content on the platform is uploaded independently by creators, and creators remain fully responsible for their content, communication, and services.

Due to privacy protection standards and the nature of user-generated content platforms, Showmee does not actively monitor every piece of content uploaded by creators.

However, Showmee reserves the right to review or remove content if violations of law or platform policies are reported.

Showmee strictly follows privacy protection and digital platform compliance practices.

 

0.1 GLOBAL PLATFORM COMPLIANCE

Showmee operates as a global online platform and strives to comply with applicable international digital platform regulations.

These may include laws and regulations applicable in:

• United States – Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA)
• United Kingdom – Online platform regulations
• India – Information Technology Act, 2000
• United Arab Emirates – Cybercrime and digital transaction laws

Users accessing Showmee from outside India are responsible for ensuring that their use of the platform complies with their local laws.

 

0.2 CREATOR TYPES ON SHOWMEE

Showmee hosts multiple categories of creators including:

• Digital Creators
• Influencers
• Content Creators
• Virtual Creators
• AI-Generated Creators

Some accounts on the platform may represent AI-generated or virtual personas.

Users acknowledge that subscriptions made to such creators are voluntary and made at the user’s own discretion.

Showmee shall not be responsible for spending decisions made by users.

 

0.3 VOLUNTARY SUBSCRIPTIONS

Showmee never forces users to subscribe to any creator account.

All subscriptions, purchases, and tips are voluntary actions made by users.

Users acknowledge that they are fully responsible for their purchasing decisions.

  
 

0.4 CREATOR IDENTITY DISCLAIMER

Creators may operate using:

• stage names
• brand identities
• aliases
• fictional characters

Showmee does not guarantee that every creator uses their real-world identity unless explicitly verified.

Users interact with creators at their own discretion.

 

0.5 OFF-PLATFORM TRANSACTIONS

If users or creators choose to communicate or conduct payments outside Showmee, such transactions are outside the control of the platform.

Showmee shall not be responsible for disputes, losses, or agreements resulting from off-platform communication or payments.

NOTE : 

Showmee strictly prohibits creators from offering real-world physical meetings, escort services, or offline services through the platform

 

1. ABOUT SHOWMEE

Showmee is a subscription-based digital content platform that allows creators to publish, promote, and monetize their digital content while allowing users to subscribe and interact with creators.

Showmee provides technology infrastructure and payment facilitation but does not produce, manage, or control creator content or services.

Showmee operates only as an intermediary platform between creators and users.

 

2. ELIGIBILITY

Users must be at least 18 years old to access or use the platform.

By using Showmee, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into binding agreements under the laws of India.

Users accessing the platform from outside India must comply with the laws of their respective countries.

 

3. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION

Users and creators must register an account to access platform features.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

Any activity conducted through your account will be considered your responsibility.

Showmee reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.

 

4. PLATFORM ROLE (MEDIATOR CLAUSE)

Showmee acts solely as a technology intermediary connecting creators and users.

Showmee:

• does not create creator content
• does not supervise creator communications
• does not guarantee creator services
• does not participate in agreements between creators and users

Any transaction, promise, service, or communication made between a creator and a user is solely their responsibility.

 

5. CREATOR RESPONSIBILITY

Creators are solely responsible for:

• the content they publish
• services or offers they promote
• messages or promises made to users
• fulfilling custom content requests or paid services

Showmee does not guarantee the accuracy, quality, legality, or completion of any creator services.

 

6. CREATOR PROMISES & DISPUTES

If a creator makes a false, misleading, or unfulfilled promise after receiving payment from a user:

The user may submit a dispute to Showmee support.

Showmee may review the case and supporting evidence.

If the claim is verified, Showmee may refund the payment to the user at its sole discretion.

However:

• Showmee is not obligated to issue refunds in all cases
• disputes primarily remain between the creator and the user

 

7. PAYMENTS & BILLING

All payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways.

Showmee does not store credit card, debit card, banking, or UPI details.

Subscription prices and content prices are determined by creators.

Platform fees and pricing may change at any time.

Applicable GST and taxes are applied according to Indian tax laws.

 

8. REFUNDS & CHARGEBACKS

Payments made for subscriptions or content are generally non-refundable.

Refunds may only be issued in the following cases:

• proven creator fraud
• creator failure to deliver paid custom service
• technical errors in payment processing

Showmee reserves the sole right to approve or reject refund requests.

Users initiating fraudulent chargebacks may have their accounts permanently suspended.

 

9. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

Users and creators may not:

• use the platform for illegal purposes
• upload stolen or copyrighted material
• harass or threaten other users
• attempt to hack, manipulate, or disrupt the platform
• bypass the platform payment system

Violation may result in account suspension or legal action.

 

10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Creators retain ownership of the content they upload.

By uploading content, creators grant Showmee a non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute the content on the platform.

Users are prohibited from copying, recording, redistributing, or selling creator content without permission.

 

11. PLATFORM AVAILABILITY

Showmee aims to provide continuous service but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation.

Service interruptions may occur due to:

• maintenance
• server issues
• third-party service failures
• payment gateway disruptions

Showmee shall not be responsible for downtime beyond its control.

 

12. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

Showmee services are provided “as is” and “as available.”

Showmee makes no warranties regarding:

• platform availability
• creator content quality
• user satisfaction with creator services

 

13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Showmee shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including:

• financial loss
• disputes between creators and users
• creator fraud or failure to deliver services
• loss of data or platform access

Users agree that their use of the platform is at their own risk.

 

14. LEGAL COMPLIANCE & DATA SHARING

If Showmee receives any legal notice, court order, or investigation request, the platform reserves the right to share relevant information including:

• creator account details
• registered identity information
• transaction records
• communication records

Such information may be shared with law enforcement authorities or legal bodies as required by law.

Showmee may also provide creator details to authorities if legal complaints arise related to creator activities.

 

15. TERMINATION

Showmee reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts without prior notice if:

• these Terms are violated
• fraudulent activity is detected
• legal compliance requires it

Users may request account deletion by contacting support.

 

16. FORCE MAJEURE

Showmee shall not be liable for delays or service interruptions caused by circumstances beyond its control including:

• natural disasters
• internet failures
• cyber attacks
• government restrictions
• payment network outages

 

17. CHANGES TO TERMS

Showmee may update these Terms & Conditions at any time.

Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

 

18. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.

Any disputes arising from the platform shall fall under the jurisdiction of courts in India.

 

19. DMCA COPYRIGHT POLICY

Showmee respects intellectual property rights.

If a copyright owner believes that their content has been uploaded without permission, they may submit a copyright complaint including:

• identification of the copyrighted work
• identification of the infringing content
• contact details of the complainant
• a statement of good faith belief

Showmee may remove infringing content and suspend repeat offenders.

 

20. PRIVACY POLICY

Showmee respects the privacy of its users and creators and follows reasonable data protection practices.

Information collected may include:

• account information
• device and IP information
• transaction records
• platform activity data

Payment card information is processed through secure third-party payment providers.

User data may be disclosed if required by:

• law enforcement agencies
• legal investigations
• court orders
