SHOWMEE PLATFORM GUIDELINES

These Platform Guidelines are designed to maintain a safe, respectful, and secure environment for all creators and users on the Showmee platform.

By using Showmee, all users and creators agree to follow these guidelines in addition to the Terms & Conditions and applicable Indian laws.

Showmee reserves the right to monitor, enforce, and take action against accounts that violate these guidelines.

 

1. USER ELIGIBILITY

  1. Users and creators must be at least 18 years of age to use the platform.

  2. By registering or accessing Showmee, you confirm that:

    • you are legally capable of entering into agreements under Indian law

    • all information provided during registration is accurate.

Accounts suspected of belonging to minors may be suspended or permanently removed.

 

2. ACCOUNT SECURITY & RESPONSIBILITY

Users and creators are responsible for maintaining the security of their accounts.

You agree that:

• your login credentials must remain confidential
• you will not share accounts or login information with others
• all activities performed through your account are your responsibility

If you suspect unauthorized access, you must immediately contact support.

Showmee is not responsible for losses caused by unauthorized access due to user negligence.

 

3. CREATOR CONTENT GUIDELINES

Creators must ensure that all uploaded or shared content complies with applicable laws and platform policies.

Creators must not upload, promote, or distribute content that:

• is illegal or fraudulent
• violates copyright or intellectual property rights
• contains sexually abusive or exploitative material
• promotes violence, harassment, or discrimination
• promotes illegal drugs, illegal gambling, or criminal activity
• impersonates another person or organization
• spreads false or misleading information

Showmee reserves the right to remove or restrict any content that violates these guidelines without prior notice.

Repeated violations may result in account suspension or permanent removal.

 

4. CREATOR SERVICE & PROMISE POLICY

Creators must deliver any digital content, service, or custom request that they promise or advertise to users.

Creators are responsible for:

• fulfilling paid content requests
• delivering promised digital services
• maintaining honest communication with users

If a creator fails to deliver a promised service or makes a misleading promise, users may report the issue to Showmee support.

Showmee may review disputes and may issue refunds at its sole discretion.

However, Showmee acts only as an intermediary platform and does not guarantee creator services.

 

5. PAYMENT & SUBSCRIPTION GUIDELINES

  1. All payments must be processed through Showmee-approved payment gateways.

  2. Creators must not request payments outside the platform unless explicitly permitted by Showmee.

  3. Users must ensure that payment information is accurate before completing a transaction.

Refunds and cancellations are handled in accordance with the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

 

6. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

Users and creators must not:

• attempt to hack, disrupt, or reverse engineer the platform
• misuse payment systems or conduct fraudulent transactions
• impersonate other users or creators
• engage in harassment, threats, or abusive behavior
• attempt to bypass platform security systems
• distribute or leak paid creator content

Violation of these rules may result in:

• content removal
• account suspension
• permanent account termination
• legal action if required

 

7. COMMUNICATION & USER CONDUCT

Showmee encourages respectful and professional interactions between creators and users.

Users must not:

• send abusive or threatening messages
• harass creators or other users
• attempt to coerce creators into illegal or inappropriate activity

Creators are also expected to maintain professional conduct when interacting with subscribers.

 

8. PLATFORM ENFORCEMENT

Showmee reserves the right to:

• remove content that violates platform guidelines
• suspend or terminate accounts involved in suspicious activity
• investigate complaints and disputes
• restrict access to features when necessary

Enforcement decisions will be made at the sole discretion of Showmee.

 

9. LEGAL COMPLIANCE

All users and creators must comply with:

• the Information Technology Act, 2000 (India)
• intellectual property laws
• applicable cyber laws and digital payment regulations

If Showmee receives legal complaints or law enforcement requests, the platform may share relevant user or creator information as required by law.

 

10. REPORTING VIOLATIONS

If you encounter content, behavior, or activity that violates these guidelines, you may report it to the Showmee support team.

Reports should include relevant details such as:

• user or creator username
• screenshots or proof of violation
• transaction details (if applicable)

 

11. UPDATES TO GUIDELINES

Showmee may update these Platform Guidelines from time to time.

Continued use of the platform after updates indicates acceptance of the revised guidelines.
