SHOWMEE REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

Showmee is a digital platform that enables creators to sell digital content and subscription-based services to users. Since most services provided on the platform involve instant access to digital content, refund eligibility is limited.

By purchasing content or subscribing to a creator on Showmee, you agree to this Refund & Cancellation Policy.

 

1. PLATFORM ROLE

Showmee acts only as an intermediary platform connecting creators and users.

Creators are solely responsible for the content, services, and promises they provide to users.

However, Showmee may assist in resolving disputes between users and creators.

 

2. REFUND ELIGIBILITY

Refund requests may be considered within 7 days of the transaction date and only under the following circumstances:

• The subscription or service has not yet been activated or accessed
• The creator fails to deliver promised custom content or service after receiving payment
• A technical error or duplicate payment occurs during the transaction
• A transaction was processed incorrectly due to system error

All refund requests are subject to review and approval by Showmee.

Showmee reserves the sole right to approve or reject refund requests.

 

3. CREATOR FAILURE OR FALSE PROMISES

If a creator makes a false promise, misleading offer, or fails to deliver paid custom content or services, users may report the issue to Showmee.

After reviewing the dispute and available evidence, Showmee may issue a refund to the affected user at its sole discretion.

Showmee may also take actions against the creator account, including warnings, suspension, or termination.

 

4. NON-REFUNDABLE CASES

Refunds will not be provided in the following situations:

• The subscription or content has already been accessed or consumed
• The user changes their mind after purchase
• Dissatisfaction with creator content after accessing it
• Payments made due to user error or incorrect selection
• Violations of platform policies or Terms & Conditions
• Disputes related to creator-user private communication outside the platform

 

5. SUBSCRIPTION CANCELLATION

Users may cancel subscriptions at any time from their account settings.

However:

• Cancellation stops future billing only
• The current billing period will remain active until it expires
• Cancellation does not automatically guarantee a refund

 

6. CHARGEBACK POLICY

Users are encouraged to contact Showmee support before initiating chargebacks with their bank or payment provider.

Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in:

• permanent account suspension
• restriction of platform access
• investigation by payment providers

 

7. REFUND PROCESSING

If a refund request is approved:

• the refund will be processed through the original payment method
• processing time may take 7–10 business days, depending on the payment gateway or banking system.

Showmee is not responsible for delays caused by payment providers or banks.

 

8. DISPUTE SUBMISSION

Users requesting refunds must provide:

• transaction ID
• creator username
• description of the issue
• supporting evidence (screenshots or communication)

Incomplete requests may delay the refund review process.

 

9. POLICY UPDATES

Showmee reserves the right to update or modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time.

Continued use of the platform after policy updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
